John Stovall Floyd was a prominent land owner and judge.
During his lifetime he lived in Carrollton, Buchanan and the old section of Villa Rica. 

 

John married Harriett Rebecca Heath and had five children. His daughters married into three prominent local families - Chambers, Conner and Morrow.
 

Their children were:
 

  • Mr. W. A. Floyd
     

  • Mr. B. F. Floyd
     

  • Mrs. B. R. Morrow
     

  • Mrs. Sallie Floyd Chambers
    1862 - 1886
     

  • Mrs. Fannie S. Floyd Conner
    1864 - 1886

    #1 A curved top, upright headstone in a slotted base
          on a block
    #2 A flat marker from the SCV
     

  • Symbols: 
    - Iron Cross on the flat marker
    - Masonic Square and Compass

     

  • Condition/Status: 
           Cleaning - May & August 2019
           Structure - Okay
